The Distance We Drift follows Ying, a Hong Kong immigrant adjusting to life in the UK with her family. Struggling with a growing sense of isolation in a new and unfamiliar environment, she unexpectedly encounters her former lover, Hong. Their reunion stirs long-buried memories and emotions, forcing Ying to confront questions about love, identity, and the choices that shape a life far from home.
